Welcome to AIU's Teacher Induction Program - 2012-13
Program Requirements
Through your participation in the AIU's Teacher Induction Program, you will earn two (2) Continuing Professional Education credits, as well as completing a PDE-approved Induction program (necessary to be able to apply for Level II certification). You will need to complete 30 hours of required activities NO LATER THAN MAY 23, 2013.
Here are the course requirements:
Attend one mandatory orientation session (2 hours)
Complete two online courses (workshops) located on the PDE SAS portal (5 hours each - 10 hours total)
Complete one 3-hour workshop sponsored by the AIU (3 hours)
Complete an action research project (3 hours)
Have your mentor document at least 12 hours of time spent in consultation at your school (12 hours)
